Man, that was great- it felt like I was snug as a bug in a rug in the captains suite of a ship in a huge North Atlantic storm, we had the windows open all night. I'm gonna finish my Trader Joes Kona Coffeee, have a little smoke and walk my 6 acres with the dogs to see how many trees came down.. I guessing we topped 100mph winds here at the top of Mount Golf n Gamble-

Speaking of North Atlantic storms- On one of our 4 flight to Barcelona this fall we had an adventure- It was early November and it was a stormy night in New York. Due to traffic/weather we got to the Airport late- Thanks to TSA precheck we went from the street to the gate in about 12 minutes and as we approached they gate they were calling "party of two [my last name here] please approach the podium". Everyone was lined up to board in 4 lines, I scratched and clawed my way through the mess (EWR Sucks) and I grabbed the two first class tickets, wavied Little Precious over to the door and we were first people to board the aircraft. While the mongel hoard was boarding were sittin there drinking Champgne...anyway, we take off at 8pm and head north, northeast out over the Atlantic. In first class, you got a big personal TV and amongst the 250 channels and movies they have like 8 GPS channels tracking the aircraft. We had a nice dinner, (I had the chicken, the wife had Cod) and I ate an edible with after dinner coffee, then watched a movie, and afterwards it looked like everyone on the plane went to sleep. I closed my curtain, opened my window and just starred at the angry ocean below- No lights, nothing but dark angry seas beneath. I look at the GPS screens and its -75 outside, that's average at 38,000 feet but then it just kept getting colder and colder until the OAT topped -95 degrees.. The aircraft started getting colder and colder to and i'm guessing it was like 55 degrees in the plane. They couldnt heat it- I had my own bed and 4 blankets but I'm sure there was suffering going on in the back where you only get one cheap almost see through blanky and a crappy pillow. We got up to stretch our legs and grab something off the dessert cart and me and little precious looked through the curtain and everyone was frezzing in coach- They were all wrapped up like mummies with blankets up to thier necks..All of them. It was freezing! Couldnt wait to get back to our beds. When I put my hands on the side of the aircraft by my seat it was ice cold. Never felt that before- I don't know at what temperature Jet A begins to gel, but i was concerned- I wondered about our chances of surviving a ditching in the North Atlantic in the middle of the night because I didn't even bring a jacket.

4.44 acres according to the county, so if you're paying for 6 acres your neighbor appreciates you.

Very windy! Will have to check my 160 acres on the ATV with a chainsaw. Warm temps for late December.

How windy was it? Seriously, I need to run up to Bailey tomarraw... to check my ranch. (500 acres btw)

A few years ago I lost 4 trees, it was pretty bad. One is still on the ground. It was massive.
