I just took out a big Top Serlion and a few giant organic baking potatoes- My glasses are chilled and I'm getting ready for a great day

Virginia +1 (-110)
TCU -2.5
Oklahoma State -5.5

Virginias playing Navy- Navy gets human garbage players with no chance of ever going to the NFL, take the point

Oklahome State There’s been a fair bit of buzz in the betting markets about Oklahoma State’s late season ‘collapse’, driving concerns about the Cowboys mentality as they face Virginia Tech in the Camping World Bowl. For a team that had Playoff aspirations, a December 28th bowl game may not push the appropriate motivational buttons for Mike Gundy’s squad.

That being said. Oklahoma State DIDN’T ‘collapse’ down the stretch, winning two out of three after their loss to Oklahoma, including a solid road win at bowl bound Iowa State. They didn’t cover a pointspread in those three ballgames, but that certainly wasn’t unusual for a team that spent most of the season as an overvalued commodity, just 2-6-1 ATS following their 3-0 start.

The Cowboys strength, all season, was their dynamic passing game. Senior QB Mason Rudolph and senior WR James Washington truly enjoyed a special career together in Stillwater. Rudolph enters the bowl game with more than 13,000 career passing yards and a 90-26 TD-INT ratio. Washington averaged more than 20 yards per reception this year, with 221 career receptions for the Cowboys at 19.7 yards per catch. Stop that duo and Okie State is beatable. Otherwise, you’ve got to outscore Mike Gundy’s squad, which only elite offensive teams are capable of doing.

Virginia Tech was most assuredly NOT an elite offensive team this year. The Hokies scored more than 24 in ACC play only once all season. They were held to a grand total of 62 points in their final four ballgames, including SU road losses at Miami and Georgia Tech. Frosh QB Josh Jackson cannot be positively compared to the elite senior QB on the other sideline. The Hokies lacked playmakers around Jackson. Top receiver Cam Phillips was Jackson’s top threat with 71 catches, but he’s out for the bowl game with a hernia. No Virginia Tech RB reached 500 rushing yards, and top backs Travon McMillan and Deshawn McClease didn’t have a single run of 25+ yards all season.

Compared to the potent offenses Okie State has been seeing all year in the Big 12, Virginia Tech’s sputtering attack doesn’t stand up well. The Okie State defense isn’t anywhere near elite, but they’re good enough to get stops against this caliber of competition. Expect a Cowboys win by a TD or more – facing Virginia Tech in Orlando is enough of a motivator to get Okie State interested. The Games not in Blacksburg so...Take Oklahoma State.

TCU- They're just better than Stanford- The forecast is for It's Purple Rain today in San Antonio, Texas...Fear the Frog

Crazy mountain opened a tap house in Belmar, the old World of Beer spot. Tried it a few times but most of their line up is too hoppy for my tastes. Cheers.

We are playing the Palm Beach and Orange Park Greyhound evening programs tonight- I own 5 entries in tonights races so I took out a $45 bag of giant sea scallops, jumbo tiger shrimp and 6 extra virgin lobster Tails- Also- Everyone who's coming by has Ohio State -7 over The University of Spoiled Children tonight at 7.. They should win by 10+

Oh..Those are Fillets Mignons on the side- Lil Precious wont eat Top Serlion. Momma always gets the best cut of meat- I make double dog sure of that, no matter where we are-

All those steaks were perfectly pink on the inside btw- Perfect! I got a secret (so don't ask) way off cooking them. Notice the cross hatching grill marks? You don't get that from ordinary husbands

Here's a steak I bought in Spain- It was at a place that had like 35 walk up food places and a giant eating area- They don't have those here in the states- We all got food from different places and met here- I'm stuffed right there and I wasnt gonna walk around all day with that meat- We had walked for an hour to get to this place- So here comes a street dog happily trotting through the crowd- I got down and said "here boy"...They usually ignore people but he grabs the steak and I hear a roar from the crowd. Everyones pointing and laughing at this little Jack Russel type dog with a huge steak in his mouth- People were taking pictures and everything as he sped through the crowd.

I wanted what my daughter had, it was sardines in butter, it's called Braccallado or something like that- My daughter told me where she got it and on the way there i'm repeating the name in my head so I don't forget it- The girl says "Holla!" and I just say like a robot "Braccallado" and she made a face like she was thinking "you don't say hi asshole?" she's says something else in spanish and I repeat "Braccallado".... She's pissed now- She gives me my food, I give her the money and she just turns her back with a scowl on her face- No thank you or nothing. I told my daughter what happened and she says "dad, thats like walking up to a place in America and just repeating Hamburger, Hamburger when people are saying hi and asking you how youre doing" lol...I ate the sardines and wanted more so this time I approach her counter and say "Hola" in a very friendly way- She gets a big smile and says "Hola!"... I pointed at my head and said "stupido Americano" and she knew exactly what I was talking about. I don't even know if Stupido is a word? and after she gets my sardines and draft beer I say "Muuuucho Gracias!" and she says "Gracias" in a very friendly exaggerated way.. They don't take tips in Spain btw-

Just thought Id share that story

I have decided to stay home. The bar down the street has a lesbian band. (not interested) and the other bar has a crappy band. Just not worth it.
