I only read a paragraph of this bullshit.. you're an ignorant human being who lives in a bubble and has probably never been outside of Colorado. I do not respect your opinion.... my daughter lives there, owns a restaurant there and her husband was born and raised there.. one block away from our apartment

Ha. Now I know that I hit it right on the head. You're no "European". Just another greedy gringo with a tourist pass. Hey- ask the authorities what happens when you overstay your visa in Spain. Not good- they take it seriously.

They will deport you quicker than you can say "illegal gringo".

So your daughter married a Spanish citizen. OK. I got it. That's great as I said. I agree with you that quality of life there can be better than running the rat race here. But for the average Jose, actually getting ahead in a European country can be difficult. Not everyone "owns a restaurant". Most people would be happy just having a job in a restaurant.

And I have been outside Colorado, been to many countries in Europe and I would like to go back this year. But I know that my chances of getting ahead in life are much better here in the USA. My cousins in Ravenna, Italy live in a very beautiful mediterranean city, but all they want to talk about when I visit is the USA. They want to talk about Colorado.

One of my cousins life long dream is to start a furniture business- he is a master furniture maker. The chances of him starting a business in Italy are almost impossible due to massive regulations and rules. His dream was to come here and start his business.

I'd be willing to bet that I am more far more cultured than you sport. I know and understand Europeans and their food and culture better than most. I'm not some back woods hick as you have asserted. Half of my family are European, and half American. I can speak some Spanish and even more Italian. And I bet that half of the food they eat where your daughter lives you wouldn't even try. Probably don't know the difference between chireta and a merienda.

Ever heard of chim da rapa? One of my favorite dishes.

Be careful of stereotyping people- they will surprise your ignorance.

Almost free for American golfers/gamblers... they love those kind of people so much that the citizens actually subsidize these special Americans with leftover tax dollars from their booming economy! GiGi has already been granted his own VIP table at most of the nicer restaurants in town and is expected to meet with local leaders soon to discuss building a new dog track in his name.

The harness track is a short walk away, I've already made some important connections on the back stretch- I got a cash job hot walking/grooming for a few days so I could get access. For a few days I had to get up at 4am, walk the mile to the track and then walk hot (just worked out) horses till 10:30 am.. I'd go by the fish market on the way home and get brunch for lil Precious- I'd get a big square of Lobster Lasagna for like $2.50

I told ya..My daughter was an international super model and has appeared on and in numerious magazine covers, tv shows, movies, and to this day she's still on billboards all over Vegas- She traveled the world- I mean she spent 6 months in Russia, South America, Asia..everywhere- and when she went here she said.."I found where i'm going to live dad" She lived there for 3 years before she got married..No visa? They don't kick people out, its not like here in this police state

Here's her restaurant- She goes in there just to have lunch with her husband, she never works there..They buy chickens for a $1 and sell them for $9.. Its off season, but I think she said they sell about 80 a day and a lot of side dishes of course

They don't speak Mexican and they don't like being associated with Mexico, they also hate Brits and Germans- They like us though- Not too many Americans go there. Everyone was so friendly so interested in us Americano's- They all ask about Trump and look so relieved when I told them we hate him.. You get hugs when you say you can't stand Trump...They see him as an extremely immature comical character, a joke, and they can't understand how such a bottom of the barrel human being got elected

I'm a local now- I'll join the protests against tourism

It doesn't sound like they are too thrilled about the mass hordes of Gringo tourists. You better get a disguise and an accent. :)
