DENVER — Mayor Michael Hancock can now be counted among the growing list of mayors across the country working to strengthen efforts against climate change.

Mayor Hancock posted these pictures on Twitter Saturday after signing the “Climate Mayors Letter” and committing Denver to meeting the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.

The renewed efforts to slow climate change are a direct reaction to the Trump administration’s decision to withdraw the country from the sweeping agreement that includes nearly every country in the world.

So Mayor Hancock wants to make it even more expensive for working class families to live in Denver! Thanks, for putting the global elites ahead of Americans.

yeah, rah rah. zzzzzzzzzz

I'm announcing a personal commitment to solving global hunger, poverty, income inequality and cancer by 2025.

The Paris "agreement" was an Obama/Kerry shoot from the hip pledge, not an official U.S. ratified or funded agreement/plan.

Lip Service with no enforcement other than the enviro lawyers having a field day with law suits down the road.

Live by the pen, die by the pen.

Exactly why it's not so damaging for the US to be a part, then pass it's own laws to contain those lawsuits.

Boulder's mayor has now also so declared. I'd like to see unincorporated Evergreen follow suit in announcing its adherence to the intent and spirit of the Paris Agreement. Let's out ourselves as moral leaders to the rest of Colorado and the world.
