How A Bucket List Changes The Way You Think

Knowing what you want and writing it down is the catalyst for great things to come. It will begin to pop into your head at random times of the day as you envision your bucket list and all the dreams that it holds. If you put the list somewhere that you will see it every day, it’s a daily reminder of something great to come.

The bucket list itself embodies what psychologists have learned when it comes to setting goals. Goals motivate you to accomplish things, and a bucket list asks you to be specific about what you want. Psychologists say that being specific about your goals makes you more motivated.

Totally agree. Helps to have goals and deadlines. If you want to see the Amazon, assign a date.

I like "to do lists" and organization, but never was that serious about artificial deadlines. (just ask my boss)! It adds too much unnecessary stress.

If you don't feel like doing it today, or it is not ready, just put it off until tomarrow. :)

I'd like to know where that pic is from, Glacier National Park?

Glacier is possible, I was unable to find photographer or location, sorry!

Got any interesting bucket list items you'd like to share?

Glacier NP definitely. Tried to plan a scooter ride there recently, but canceled due to fire there.

Been almost everywhere else out west. 45,000 miles on the scoot.

New Zealand and Switzerland are possibilities. If I can renew my expired passport. :(

Canadian Rockies look nice too, except for mosquitoes.

Maybe another Alaska Cruise?

Impressive mileage - THAT must've been good for the soul.
I assume some were on Going To The Sun Road in Glacier NP?

I enjoy NW America also with many road trips there. Olympic NP is awesome also.

Good for you! That's been on your wishlist a long while.

Travel is on a lot of people's lists I think.
