Within a year, this town has gone from one tap house to four, two of which brew their own beer. That’s a lot of craft beer.

While some might say it could be too much for Evergreen, the owners say their establishments will become a destination for craft-beer aficionados who might not drive here for one brewpub, but will for four.

• El Rancho Restaurant and Brewing on Evergreen Parkway at Interstate 70.

• Evergreen Tap House above Boone Mountain Sports on Evergreen Parkway.

• Lariat Lodge Brewing in the former Evergreen Conference Center on Fireweed Drive.

• Revival Brews, which opened on New Year’s Eve last year and is the oldest of the four brewpubs.

I live 2 minutes away from revival... I even think that true yoga stops by there after sessions... yet to be there. Is it any good?

I've been by but haven't sampled the food. I've heard good comments, people seem to feel at home there.

Revival is a nice friendly local place, little pricey I thought but it is right downtown. I'm looking forward to trying the others this summer.

Went to El Rancho for the first time yesterday. Thumbs up!

Good happy hour deals, and great Scottish Ale.

2 down, 2 to go!

Well we made it to all four this past summer.

Lariat Lodge hands down is the best! Good beer selection, happy hour, food is great, awesome deck and Bar.

El Rancho close second, also great beer. Scottish and Brown.

Wasn't too impressed with the other 2 places though.

Not too long ago Evergreen had nothing for breweries.

I expect each one to brew and distribute under their own label soon. Golden has breweries of its own also, you can do a pretty good brewery tour from Golden to Evergreen.
