Pretty conclusive -

CTE found in 21% of high school athletes -
and of 111 brains of retired NFL players studied, 110 were affected by CTE.

The high school one is more interesting. The NFL results were to be expected since families donated the brains of former players who were pretty sure they had CTE. I think we will see a future like boxing. Middle and upper class parents will refuse to let their kids play high school and college football, possibly soccer and rugby too. But economically disadvantaged kids will still be willing to take the risk of brain damage for the rewards of free college tuition and the huge paychecks the NFL promises.
