Gambling has always been popular among blue collar types like VL. I would probably bet $100 a week on a couple games. And like you said, the state is always interested in finding new ways to tax you.

You're so ignorant and naive..gamblers hate the vig, they hate to have to overcome that...add even .5% tax on top of that and theyll bet with a local book.

I don't know. I know a couple of hardcore pot smokers who dropped their dealers and pay the dispensary tax for the convienence.
