EJ Bisiar bought a $15 guitar from a drug store when he was a high school senior. From there, an entire music career blossomed — opening for The Grateful Dead in 1969, writing and releasing children’s music as the “original” Eddie Spaghetti, and collaborating on his latest album, “Evergreen Trail.”
After several years of songwriting, improvising tunes with local collaborating musicians and remixing older tracks, Bisiar released the album earlier this year. . .
“Almost everyone (who worked) on the album is from Evergreen,” he said, adding that he worked with Blue Moon Bluegrass, Evergreen Chamber Orchestra members and local bassist Mark Stefaniw, among others. “I needed people to improvise. ...There’s really great talent (in Evergreen).
