A teen arrested after a threat resulted in a lockdown at Evergreen High School will not be charged with a crime, according to the district attorney’s office.

The 16-year-old student, who was taken into custody Dec. 10 after classmates reported the threat to school staff, didn’t represent a threat to the school, said DA’s spokeswoman Pam Russell.

“After a thorough review of all the information, we did not find that there was a credible threat …,” Russell said. “We take this very seriously.”
